This simple set can be made as written to produce the exact stripes we did, or you can go wild and randomly change colors to produce your own unique stripes.

This is the perfect pattern for a brand new knitter to follow, or a great quick knit gift for a more experienced knitter. The mitts are written to be worked either flat or in the round to accommodate all levels of experience.

Our palette of Heirloom Romney goes great together so have fun picking your favorite two colors! This set is knit on size 10 needles to produce a soft, lofty fabric that knits up quick.

Materials Required:
2 skeins of Fancy Tiger Crafts Heirloom Romney in main color (MC) Radish
1 skein contrasting color (CC) Sweet Pea

Needles & Such:
Size 10 needles, (optional size 10 DPNs for mitts)
crochet hook for attaching fringe
darning needle
scissors

Gauge:
21 sts & 17 rows = 4” in 1 x1 rib on size 10 needle

Finished Size:
Scarf: 6” wide x 85” long (plus fringe)

Mitts:
Small - 5” circumference by 12” long
Large - 7” circumference by 12” long

(rib stitch is stretchy & will stretch to accommodate your hands!)
