Perdrix is the French word for Partridge, and this delicately cabled hat is reminiscent of the partridge’s lovely striated plumage. Samples have been knit in beautifully soft and luxurious Galileo yarn (1-2 balls) as well as Blue Sky Fibers Metalico and both are equally fashionable and luxurious!

Available in sizes to fit the whole family, Perdrix is designed with a snug, yet comfortable brim. Knit from the bottom up in the round, the cable pattern is preserved all the way to the top for a flawless finish using a series of well-placed decreases.

Instructions are written and charted. A link is also provided for a video tutorial to learn cabling without a cable needle to make this an even quicker knit. Perdrix is appropriate for knitters of all skill levels and was tech edited by Liz Halla-Mattingly.

UPDATE: Perdrix now includes a Newborn Size! This hat makes a perfect baby gift!
