A 20” diameter doily in 30 rounds with instructions both written and charted.
GAUGE: rnds 1-4 are 3 1/4” across.

Pattern features:
irish crochet - chains filled with sc and dc. Pattern requires chaining and slip stitch the end of the chain back in the round in order to fill the chain at several points.

v stitch of 2 dc with ch3 between
v stitch of 2 tr with ch2 between
double treble crochet (dtr)
2-tr cluster (cl): leaving last lp of each st on hook, work 2 tr as shown, yo and draw thru all 3 lps on hook.

Editor’s Note: after rnd 2 the pattern states to fasten off at a black wedge and tie thread on at white wedge. This editor found it easier to finish round 2 off with a dtr and turn the work to start rnd 3 eliminating the need to cut thread.
