Perforate, penetrate and pierce,
the many names for making a hole,
when a lacy appearance is your goal,
and the look of these ones is fierce.

Perforate is a crescent-shaped shawl. Instead of a visible center, the pattern cleverly incorporates increases within the lace itself. The pattern is charted, wrong side rows are purled. Perforate requires 300-650 meters of fingering or sport weight yarn and is easily enlarged by adding repeats.
