Perla is an asymmetrical coat, knitted from the bottom up as a rectangle with the insertion of openings for the armholes which are worked at different heights. This is the detail that gives a pointy effect on the back and cowl when wearing the coat. The borders in Kid Silk Five are knitted afterwards, by picking up the stitches from bottom and sides. It can be worn open or closed with a pin. It’s a very long coat because of its asymmetrical structure, the point in the back is the longest part. If you want it shorter, you can knit less repetitions for the body.
