This striped jumper is made in stocking-stitch -- starting
from the underarm seam and working across. The basque and
cuffs of the original were crocheted in alternate strips of
brown and white, and the large buttons crochet covered.

Measurements: Length 20 inches, bust 34-36 inches, sleeve seam 7 inches.

Materials: 3 skeins of brown and 2 skeins each of gold, and white 3-ply wool, pair of No. 8 needles, a medium steel crochet hook, 13 wooden buttons and 3 press studs.
