This is a completely customizable pattern for a short-sleeved top. It is knitted in sections that are seamed together. You can customize every measurement - length, width, sleeve width and length, and even the design on the front and back panels.

All you need is a well fitting top that you can use to take measurements. The testers for this pattern have assured me that the calculations were easy.

Some of the sections are knitted with slip stitch patterns, and some are intarsia panels. There are instructions for 2 slip stitch patterns and 4 intarsia panels - dragonfly, spider, peacock and peacock feather. If you use the intarsia panels then this must be an advanced intermediate level pattern. However you are free to use another stitch for those panels instead of the intarsia, in which case this is a quick and easy knit that could be tackled by a beginner.

The pattern uses any worsted weight yarn, with 2 colors (or more if you prefer) in about equal amounts. The only thing you should not do is to mix 2 different types of yarn that may behave differently when washed (like cotton and wool)
