Younger Child – 19 inches (48 cm), use 4.5 mm (G) hook
Older Child –20 inches (51 cm), use 5.0mm (H) hook
Small Adult – 22 inches (56 cm), use 5.5mm (I) hook
Large Adult – 24 inches (61 cm), use 6.0mm (J) hook
Mouse Variation: also needs 4.5 mm (G) hook.
Gauge (by hook): Using 4.5 mm (G) hook, 15 stitches and 7 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) of dc.
Using 5.0 mm (H) hook, 14 stitches and 7 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) of dc.
Using 5.5 mm (I) hook, 13 stitches and 7 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) of dc.
Using 6.0 mm (J) hook, 12 stitches and 6 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) of dc.
