This is a border pattern for a triangle shawl. Gauge does not apply in this instance.

Use any yarn you choose for your triangle shawl.
I used 5 oz. of fingering weight yarn which was the weight of yarn for my shawl. You may need more or less to finish your project.

Gauge is not important for this pattern.

This border pattern can also be used on a rectangular shawl.

I used a size K/10.5/6.5mm crochet hook and a tapestry needle to weave in ends.

The pattern uses only chain, single crochet and double crochet stitches.
