Petersberg is a lacy stole knit on the bias with garter stitch elements that highlight a center lace motif.

The inspiration for this pattern came from the Petersberg hill in the
Siebengebirge near Königswinter. On top of the Petersberg nowadays a fancy hotel can be found that in former times was the site of not only political important events but also served as the scene for a lot of high society events.

Sitting in the beer garden of the hotel overlooking the Rhine valley
you can almost feel not only the beauty of this place but also its
historic significance.

You could wear this stole not only to cover up on a dinner event but also during the day enjoying coffee and the beautiful view on the deck of the Petersberg Hotel.
