Petit Riens, little nothings, is a flirty little French dance from the Renaissance period. The delicate yet subtle movements of dance are reflected in these gloves.

MATERIALS
Naturally Dawn 2-ply 50% New Zealand wool/50% Silk; 171yd/156m per 25g skein; color: 8; 1 2 skeins

5 US #1/2.25mm double-point needles

2, 5/8 inch shank style buttons
waste yarn or stitch holder
Darning needle

This can easily be converted into fingerless gloves by only knitting the fingers and thumbs until they are just above the first joint of the finger (about 1(1 1⁄2) inch) and binding off.
