Inspiration: The Phases sweater derives from my desire to make a light weight sweater shirt with a color yoke that reminds me of my favorite types of Navajo Blankets.

The idea to make a sweater inspired by the traditional Chief Blanket design has always been in the back of my head. I find so much inspiration from these simple yet bold blankets. I love the black and white stripes throughout and the simple crosses. I added in my own twist on the traditional design and think this would be a great first colorwork sweater.
