Phoenicia Stole is a rectangular version of Phoenicia, made as part of a collection of stoles & scarves for the knitters of the Nimble Knits group.

It is a fairly simple rectangular lace stole with a pairing of 2 laces, one wide and one narrow, which can be worked in either order.

  • The pattern can be worked entirely from the written instructions, or from chart with some notes.
  • Suits lace to fingering weight yarn.
  • Length, width, and yardage are all adaptable.
  • The WS rows are purled across.

The Book of Stolen Moments 1 is a collection of 4 patterns, each with 2 laces, that can be worked as stoles or scarves. They are ideal for gifting, relaxation knitting, and picking up in odd little moments here and there.

Just for fun, these patterns can be worked with the laces in either order, so you can assemble them as you wish. The lace is all worked on the RS, with the WS purled across.

My project page with notes on all 4 patterns in the first collection (lace), and the 2nd collection (stripes) can be found here.
