Phoenix is a long sleeve bottom-up cowl neck sweater that shows off large stripes of color. Worked in the round with waist shaping, the stitches are picked-up for the sleeves and worked in the round with short-rows used to shape the sleeve caps. The long sleeves are finished with 4-5” in rib for a snug fit in a contrasting color. For the collar, the stitches are picked-up to work the cowl in the same darker contrasting color. While the sweater is simple, the color blocking and details along the sleeves as well as the cowl adds a modern sensibility.
