The Phoenix Wrap is a mystery crochet-a-long in partnership with Lion Brand and Sue Rock Originals Everyone, Inc., a non-profit organization that distributes handmade garments and wardrobe staples to domestic violence survivors. The Phoenix Wrap is a rectangular shawl and the pattern will be released in 3 parts.

Crocheting flat in rows (for Panels), crocheting in the round (for Borders)
Changing colors (with linked video tutorials), increasing, decreasing by skipping stitches, crocheting between stitches (with linked video tutorial), crocheting in chain spaces
Crocheting in the back loop and in the third loop (with linked video tutorials for identifying these loops)
Special stitches: FPtr, picot (with written instructions and linked video tutorials in pattern)

Materials List
Lion Brand Jeans yarn (100% acrylic, 3.5 oz/100 g/246 yd/225 m) – 2 skeins each in 150 Vintage (CA), 153 Stovepipe (CB), and 108 Brand New (CC), or approximately 465 yd (425 m) in each of 3 colors in any medium weight yarn.

US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn needle.

Stitch markers.
