Sometimes I find myself without a pocket in which to put my phone, like when I’m working in the garden. A little pouch on a strap is just the thing to solve that dilemma. Using just two basic stitches – single crochet and chain – a handy pouch can be made to protect your phone and keep your hands free.

This pattern is designed for the beginner crocheter and includes instruction for how to join a seam, make a tassel, and make a fringe. There are minimal photos. A formula is also given so that you can make the cozy specifically for your phone. Have fun using whatever colors you like.

This pattern prints as a folded bi-fold brochure. For best results, print the pdf as a double-sided project, flipping on short edge.
