This design draws its inspiration from a structured woven hat sported by a certain lady detective during one of her nocturnal investigations. The designer’s challenge was to create a hat that would hold its shape despite being made from a very soft fiber with a beautiful sheen. Pairing this soft merino with a slip-stitch texture provides the right amount of structural integrity while the stitch pattern creates a naturally reversible beret.
