Phuman Chu is the first of my Around the World series. He is approx. 15 inches tall with the hat on. He is completely bald except for a small patch of “hair” on the back of his head, where he sports a very impressive braid. Phuman Chu is finely dressed in a bright red robe, and black pants. As a courtesy, he removed his shoes so as not to offend.

CHOKING HAZARD!! Some parts may be easily removed. Use caution around small children.

The pattern has 12 pages of step by step instructions with detailed color photos. This pattern is good for beginners, with an understanding of basic crochet techniques such as: sc, dc, hdc, inc, dec, and working in rounds and rows.

The main colors are Buff, Cherry Red, Black and Cornmeal. You will need a size G hook for the doll, and an H hook for the hat. Two strands of yarn were used on the hat to give it extra stiffness. Stiff cardboard was used in the feet to give extra support so the doll can stand on it’s own.
