Based on the concept of phyllotaxis…“The counterclockwise spirals are made with twisted stitches, and the clockwise spirals are made with lace eyelet and decrease combinations. The yoke is shaped by working decrease rounds periodically between pattern rows, and the decreases are an integral part of the pattern.”
