This is the kind of luxurious throw that beckons you to the sofa. You might recognize the humble knitted ‘dishcloth’ pattern (original author unknown)—we borrowed the bobbly picot edge from one of our favorite baby blanket patterns and scaled it up.

When the knitting’s this simple, it’s all in the yarn. So choose something yummy!

FINISHED SIZES
Throw: Approx. 42 x 42”/107 x 107cm.
Afghan: Approx. 52 x 52”/132 x 132cm.

Yarn requirements are given for throw size; afghan size in parentheses ( ).

Chunky Weight Version
YARN (worsted mohair + dk)
6(8) skeins Classic Elite Giselle mohair (230 yds/ 210m each);
AND 9(13) skeins Blue Sky Alpaca Silk (146yds/133m each);
