I chose these particular motifs for this great-fitting shawl in order to achieve a textured appearance. This pattern has enough stitch variation to hold the interest of the more advanced knitter, yet the motifs are not too difficult for a knitter on an intermediate level. As with all my other designs, I have provided clear, detailed directions. For best results, adhere to them exactly.

Quick and easy to make from the top down, this little shawl, knitted in sock weight yarn, is the perfect accessory to spice up the simplest outfit.
The gauge is 5 sts = 1” in sock, DK, or worsted weight yarn on a size 8 needle.

Directions are provided for both multi and solid color versions of this shawl. Each row is spelled out for you stitch-by-stitch, row-by-row for ease and accuracy in working the designs.

Have fun creating your own personal interpretation of these lovely, challenging patterns!
