Due to changes to EU legislation with regard to Value Added Tax liability from 1st January 2015 I have decided to temporarily suspend pattern sales until it becomes clear what the best option for me will be. I will also be using this opportunity to develop some new patterns, revise layouts, make any amendments and take some new photos. I haven’t set a date for reopening my Ravelry store but it’s unlikely to be before early summer 2015. If you’d like to be notified when I reopen send my a personal message and I’ll add you to a list for earburning when I reopen.

Pie Crust is a semi-circular shawl with a deep lattice lace inner border and a flirty ruffled edge.

Sizes:
Shawlette: 13.5” (34cm) by 35” (90cm)
Shawl: 18” (46cm) x 54” (137cm)
Measured from tip to tip post-blocking in a curved shape

Gauge for shawl in laceweight is 17 sts x 26 rows = 10cm in stocking stitch after blocking

Shawlette: 440 yards (420 metres) of 4ply (fingering/sock) yarn (shown on front page of pattern)

4mm (US6) circular needles
I used a needle with an 80cm cable throughout but you might want to use a longer cable for the outer border
Optional: 4.5mm (US7) for casting off loosely
2 stitch markers
Darning needle for weaving in ends
Optional: 18g of beads in an appropriate size for your yarn.
