Piera - meaning small rock - a family colloquialism for diamonds commonly featured in jewelry.

The design features a diamond shaped cable with garter stitch edging, perfect for a first cable project.

The instructions are written for a continuous band that has the ends stitched together or an alternate I-cord tied version.

Full written instructions are supported by a chart for the cable design.
While gauge is not critical it may affect yarn requirement.
The i-cord option requires two double pointed needles in the smaller size.

There is a table at the end of the pattern to assist with deciding the best length for your headband.

The pattern has been successfully test knit.
