Anneal Gibe Beanie is perfect for days when the cold wind blows. The double fabric created by the mosaic colour work will keep the chills at bay.

Anneal Gibe Beanie is worked from crown to band in the round.
The crown shaping is worked in colour A, with colour B introduced to complete the mosaic colour work that forms the main body of the beanie.

The beanie is finished with a modified corrugated rib band.

The design is perfect for yarns with a good contrast, even when one is wildly variegated.

Sizes - Hat circumference
S 40cm/16 inches
M 50cm/20 inches
L 61cm/24 inches

Height is adjustable

Two colours of yarn required (Approximately 2/3rds colour A and 1/3 colour B)
Colour A 100-130m/110-135y
Colour B 50-70m/55-75y

Beginning from the top with a small number of stitches- the following cast on’s are perfect if you don’t want to sew the hole at the end.

Magic Circle Uses a crochet hook to make the stitches at the beginning
Knit on Is a little finicky to begin with, but works exactly like the threading the tail through the final stitches when working a hat from the band
Belly-button has you begin with a scrap yarn to get a neat edge at the beginning
