Can be made in 1 hour. Applique’s will take another 1/2 hr or thereabouts. Chunky yarn # 5 is used for a nice weight for winter. This hat is perfect for those that cannot stand to have their ears covered. Although the design is for a Pill Box, the length can be extended to fold over for a cuff brim for those that want a hat that covers the ears.

Pattern includes 7 sizes from Toddler to Adult XXL. There are 2 options, one being the basic SC, the other is a woven look st. A very simple technique is used to keep the crown flat.
