This is a cute and easy to wear pinafore with a matching hat. You have a choice of knitting it with an eyelet border or just plain. Instructions for both are included.

The pinafore fits loosely and will fit a girl 1 yr to 3 yrs of age. The waist measures 26”, and can stretch quite a bit. The shoulder ties also allow you to adjust for size, depending on how tightly or loosely you knot them. This is a garment that can grow with the child. It starts off as a dress and then can be worn as a top.

The pink pinafore was made with Knit Picks Comfy Worsted. 3 skeins were needed to knit the pinafore. An additional skein is needed to knit the hat.
The green pinafore was made with TLC Cotton Plus and took 3 skeins to knit both the pinafore and the hat.

The skirt is worked in the round. Then you work back and forth at the waistband. There is no seaming!!! It knits up quickly and looks adorable!!!
