-1 skein of Adventure Gnome from Gnome River Yarns (100% US sourced wool from Wyoming; 210 yds / 100 grams; color: “Bat Friend”)
-OR-
-1 skein of Lucky Tweed from Kelbourne Woolens (100% Merino wool; 210 yards / 100 grams; color: “Pistachio”)
-size US 8 / 6.0 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge), 16” circular
-size US 8 / 6.0 mm double pointed needles (or preferred needles for small circumference knitting) - to be used for the decreases-size US 6 / 4.0 mm (or two sizes smaller than gauge needle), 16” circular - to be used for brim
-size US 5 / 3.75 mm (or three sizes smaller than gauge needle), 16” circular - to be used for tubular cast on
-stitch markers (1 unique for BOR, 4 others to mark decreases)
