The pattern recommends vintage size 10 crochet cotton, 2 balls white or “Puritan Star Spangled” crochet cotton, 4 balls silver spangle. If made with the spangle (metallic twist) thread, the size increases to 22” diameter.
Size 7 steel hook. Published ca. 1950.
