Pineapple Stacks is a warm hat for cold days that uses cables and twisted stitches to create a richly textured surface. It look particularly great in solid or semi solid yarns. It is knit from the bottom up, in the round.

Pineapple Stacks is written for a range of sizes from babies to grown ups: 34.5cm, 40.5cm, 45.5cm, 50.5cm and 56cm head circumference. The adult sizes are slouchy in style, so if you prefer a closer fitting style, work one less set of vertical repeats.

Pineapple Stacks can be finished with the biggest pom-pom, you can handle. This is a tutorial from Creature Comforts on a great method for making pom poms.

You will need:
4mm set of double points
Cable needle
Tapestry needle
Pom pom maker (optional)
