For the Pineapple Wrapple you need two contrasting yarns: 100g for the backdrop color and 50g for the triangles. You can choose various combinations: two color gradients, one color gradient combined with one solid yarn, two contrasting multicolored yarns etc. For this version I used one ball of Mini Mochi by Crystal Palace Yarns and one skein of Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh. Other great combinations are Crystal Palace Yarns Mini Mochi or Sausalito paired with Mini Solid; Noro Hansono paired with Silk Garden Fine or Flower Bed; Schoppel Wool Finest with Zauberball 100 or Zauberball Crazy; Wollmeise Pure semi solid with multi colored;

Although this pattern is designed for fingering yarn, you can use any other yarn weight. Naturally the yardage and size will differ then. Of course, you can adjust the size as well.

The Pineapple Wrapple is a modular knit, but there is no seaming involved as the modules are joined as you go. You will find photo tutorials together with instructions on how to do this at the end of the pattern.

Graphics, written, and charted instructions make the Pineapple Wrapple an easy and fun to knit shawlette that is highly suitable for travelling.
