An excellent project for handspun--especially when the yarn is not as perfectly spun as planned. The 4-row rib is very easy to knit and forms what appears to be a complex textured pattern due to the exaggerated stitches caused by shifting the working needles on the front bed every two rows.
The handspun is from 3.9 oz of Merino roving, which resulted in nearly 200 yds of singles. (16 wpi)
