This uses a steel crochet hook U.S. size 7. the gauge is one motif = appx 6 1/2 inches.

Victorians didn’t have central heating during the winter, so most of them wore nightcaps to keep their heads warm while they were sleeping. This nightcap is based on those Victorian nightcaps, although it is one of my original designs. this particular nightcap is my favorite. I make one every year, and wear it under my bicycle helmet to keep out the chill.
