Pin Wheel Scarf is a great project that will keep you snuggly warm during the cooler months. The delicate pinwheel design adds texture and interest. In contrast the garter stitch edging gives the knitter a well deserved break.

This pattern may be adapted to create the perfect scarf for you. If knit in worsted weight yarn each pin wheel will be apprx. 5 inches. To knit this scarf the perfect length determine how long you would like the scarf to be and divide by 5. Then round up and cast on. If you wish more a shawl look simply continue knitting in garter stitch until you reach your desired look.

This project can be knit with any type of DK weight yarn and knit in any length desired just by adding additional yarn.
