Pinwheel Bridal Wedding Dress Crochet Pattern

CROCHET LEVEL: Experienced

SIZE: You can make any size dress, using your custom measurements & pattern-drafting skills or your favorite sewing pattern.

FORMAT: PDF, 12 pages, 5.43 MB (mobile device friendly). Language - English. This tutorial explains how to finish a one-of-a-kind dress in Free Form crochet technique. The pattern includes crochet diagrams & tips, however, it is not a precise pattern & there are no row-by-row instructions due to the nature of this technique.

SKILLS: Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, picot, irregular crochet net (optional), working in rows and in the round, increasing, decreasing, sewing, working with sewing patterns, crochet free form knowledge.

• Super Fine Metallic Kid Mohair yarn (or any other similar weight yarn) - weight category: lace (1); 251 yards (230 meters) per 25 grams (0.88 oz) ball; Qty: approx 2500-3000 yd (2300-2800 m).
• Sewing needle
• Straight pins (or curved safety pins)
• Glass seed beads (optional)
• Dress sewing pattern
• Satin fabric & notions for lining (or completed sewn dress)

HOOK: 2.75 mm (Size 1 US) Steel Hook (or any other suitable hook for your yarn)

GAUGE: Gauge is not important for free form items, but the key for working with mohair yarn is to “crochet loosely”, which will make your stitches & fabric structure light.
