Pippa by Rachel Evans

Pippa

This pattern is available as a free Ravelry download

Pippa is a cute, fun and playful skirt. It is perfect for hand dyed variegated yarns and has been designed to show off beautiful buttons. There’s also a cute little puff pocket to keep precious treasures in. Every girl will love this skirt.

The skirt starts with the waistband being knit in the round. The main part of the skirt is knit back and forth. Choose the waist size and then the length corresponding to the age of the child. The pattern gives a range of lengths to knit to from age 6m - 12y.

This pattern is ‘license free’. If you have personally hand-knit the pattern, feel free to do what you want with the finished garment including selling it.

Yardage Requirements

Yardage numbers are always an estimate. I have tried to overestimate to ensure you have enough. If you are going to be knitting the skirt longer than the waist size (ie a 2y/20” waist with size 6y length) look at the yardage requirements for the length you will knit, rather than the waist size.
