Buttons and pompoms are a great way to embellish your hats!!!!

I designed The Pippi Hat to accentuate the use of buttons. Buttons are strategically placed in between each pattern shift to add a touch of flair.

This pattern uses a technique other than the cable stitch to create the appearance of the cables. The continuous and changing cable flows from the band to the very top of the hat, making this an interesting design.

The Pippi Hat is appealing with or without the extra adornments of the buttons and pompom. But, oh what a big difference those items can make to your knitted hat.
