This is a very easy pattern to adapt to any size of person or weight of wool. It is also easy to knit, worked sideways from one front edge round to the other in a flat rectangle. I made it with a bulky hand spun wool from a Jacob x Texel sheep with different shades of brown, which gave it longitudinal stripes.
