The Pirate Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern is a pattern I designed based on the traditional perceptions of pirates from days of old.

The pirate tea cosy is oozing with detail; he’s got an angry face with a beard and handlebar moustache and he wears a red bandanna beneath his three cornered hat with a skull and crossbones emblem. In one hand he has a cutlass and the other hand he’s took hold of the ships wheel and is steering the course. As all good pirates do, this fearsome pirate has a trusty sidekick in the form of a green parrot. But what pirates love the most is treasure - and around the back of him is his latest haul of gems, there’s a treasure chest full of them.

The pattern is knitted on two pins and is easy to follow and is worked in mainly stocking stitch.

The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
