Knitted using just one 100g ball of Zealana Tui.

An in-the-round, cabled hat, designed to look like the flower hat a pixie might wear.

It’s a tighter-than-normal tension for this yarn, making it very warm, cosy, and wind-proof. Everything a girl needs to keep her head snug on a freezing winter’s day when a howling gale is blowing.

As this project is a chunky knit, it’s best to use metal needles or ones that have a metal core for this exercise. I would hate to be accused of destroying one’s favourite set of wooden needles! My weapon of choice was Addi circulars.

You’ll also need a cable needle and DPNs to knit this hat.
