Abbreviations

K = knit
P = purl
Sts = stitches
Kfb = knit into front and back of stitch
K2tog = knit 2 together
P2tog = purl 2 together
K3tog = knit 3 together
CO = cast on
RND = round
St st = stockinette stitch /Odd-numbered rows – knit. Even-numbered rows – purl/
Sl = slip

DCD = double center decrease

How to knit double center decrease:
1. Slip two stitches from the left needle onto the right
needle.

  1. Knit one stitch.
  2. Pass both slipped stitches over the knitted stitch and off the needles. Two stitches decreased.

How To Knit Short Rows

On a knit row: slip the next stitch purlwise, bring the yarn to the front of the work, and replace the slipped stitch back onto the left needle without twisting it. Turn the work around to begin working back in the other direction.

Materials needed

• 4 double-pointed needles size US 2 (3 mm).
• White and blue emerald colored yarns for doll. I used Nako Pirlanta yarn / 100% Acrylic; 100 gr (3.5oz) – 225 m (246 yds)./ Yarn weight - Worsted /12-Ply
• Toy stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch holder
• Gray colored doll Plastic eyes (14 mm)
• White Chenille stems (2 pieces)
• Brown Chenille stems (2 pieces)

All rows are worked in the round, this helps avoid ugly seams.
