The brooch measures about 2.6 inches (6.6cm) long and 2.3 inches (5.8cm) widest.

For this PATTERN, you will need to know how to slip stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet and working in rows.

This pattern consists of 6 pages. It comes with many pictures detailing the brooch crocheted at different stages.

The acrylic yarn I used is 18 wraps per inch and is categorised under ‘fine/laceweight’ yarn. Wraps per inch (or WPI) is a measure of the grist or the thickness of a yarn. I used crochet hook size 2.2mm :)
