I had the pleasure of taking a class with Franklin Habit on creating plaid. He discovered this technique during some research. It is so fast and easy, and look so complicated, and I completely fell in love with it.

You will create a striped garter stitch piece and then weave in and out of the garter ribs to create the plaid. It is a fast, fun knit, and makes giving a gift card much, much more personal!

Any DK weight yarn will work for this pattern.
