Plaidness (or, yes your plaidness) is inspired by the dramatic lines of slipped stitch patterns and the comfort of the Panta, or shaped headband.

Plaidness is made with slipped stitches in two different colors. Starting at the back of the neck, it is worked flat and fastened with a button. The headband widens from a narrow back to cover the ears and forehead. This is an easy, quick pattern, perfect for gifts. As it uses a small amount of yarn, it is also perfect for your sock yarn leftovers!

This pattern is easily sized up or down as it is done side to side and fastened with a button in back.

Yardage: 75 yards of main color and 50 yards of contrast color.
