From Never Knit Your Man a Sweater…

It’s Friday night, the work week is behind you, and it’s time for serious lounging.  Put on your sweats, order your favorite take out food, load a film in the DVD player and get comfy together.  These socks are great for padding around the house without shoes (They’re also perfect for wearing in work boots).

This pattern is for a basic sock knit up in worsted weight wool.  A 1/1 rib (K1 P1) at the top keeps the sock up, and the Stockinette Stitch is easy to knit.  Once you’ve mastered this sock, try substituting a 3/1 rib (K3 P1) for the top or another textured pattern for the stockinette stitch.
