Ever wanted to hold the whole world in your hands? How about a whole solar system?

From Ganymede to Titan… a very woolly look at the our solar system. With all of the planets, and an (admittedly incomplete) supporting cast of planetary bodies, moons and asteroids (full diagram on page 3), these mittens are totally geeky and surprisingly educational!

MATERIALS
200-350 yds / 180-320 m of fingering weight / 4 ply yarn in two shades. Sample shown uses Blacker Yarns Swan Over-Dyed Falklands Merino in Navy (MC) and Gorse (CC).
2.75mm / US 2 circular needles or DPNs.
Waste yarn
Stitchmarker
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
28 stitches / 32 rows over 4 “ / 10 cm in stocking stitch.

SIZE
Available in Small (Medium, Large).
Designed to fit a 7.5 (8.5, 9.5) “ / 19 (21, 23) cm wrist with 1 “ / 2.5cm positive ease, and is 8.5 “ / 21 cm long.
Please note that the Wrist Warmers are knitted flat and grafted, so it is possible to modify the fit to suit any wrist (or opt for a more fitted finish).

Pattern was originally on sale in Knit Now issue 33 (released April 3rd in the UK), also available from the MoreMags webstore (either digitally or in print).
