These socks have a squishy, padded garter stitch heel. Three different (easy) stitch patterns show off handpainted yarn.

This sock begins at one heel gusset, works across the heel sideways, then decreases for second gusset. The garter edges make it easy to pick up stitches for the foot and leg.

The toes are short row and also garter stitch. Due to the stretchy nature of garter stitch, these socks will fit a variety of adult sizes. They will also stretch for a while for a growing teen.

As always, if you have any questions about my designs, feel free to PM me.

I have a little video on the short row toe here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43rhm7nhFF0
