This baby blanket is made on any of the 3 sizes of CinDWood small afghan looms, 60 peg in 3/4 inch spacing; 74 peg in 5/8 in spacing; or 90 peg in 1/2 inch spacing.

Ending size of blanket is about 28inches by 30 inches (pattern could be repeated to make a 60 inches long blanket to fit a toddler bed).

The nine vertical and horizontal squares remind me of the planted fields in Iowa, where I live. The blanket is made as a single panel--no sewing together of the squares required.

Skills required are: Ewrap, Purl, Slip stitch edge, loose Basic Bind off.

Optional: add a crocheted border, loomed icord border, or loomed 10 stitch border.

Depending on yarn and loom, you will need about 3 skeins of worsted weight or bulky 5 yarn.

I also used 4 rubber bands (as stitch markers), and a tape measure/ruler.
