Play Food Hot Cross Buns. As tempting as the real thing, but bound to stay fresher and last longer…

I had such fun making these realistic, pretend food Hot Cross Buns. My daughter wanted them for my grandchildren before I’d even made a set! They make me feel happy just looking at them, but then Easter is my favourite time of year…

These buns are quick and easy to make and are perfect for children’s imaginative play - particularly in toy kitchens - or for kids’ tea parties, teddy bear or doll picnics.
They’re great for stimulating learning, whether through counting games or as a teaching resource.
Safe when thrown or dropped, they are also washable at a low temperature.
Other uses could include display or decoration, or as pin cushions…
