This little doll’s dress features my version of faux box pleats and short puff sleeve as well as some “rice” stitch.
Best made in natural fiber yarn that could be steamed or similarly blocked as these type of pleats, when created in a small doll size, tend to roll and cling to body as similar ribbing would. Therefore shaping / steaming is recommended to keep the skirt shaped in a pretty A-line .

The dress will fit full bodied 18” doll like American Girl doll and similar.
