This design is a double thick crochet hot pad. The super thick stitching will be able to support the heat from hot pots without ruining your tables or counters.

I made this design to be 7” by 7” by using almost a whole skein of Debbie Bliss Eco Cotton which is 98 yards total, with about ten yards to spare.

You’ll need at least 90 yards of an aran weight cotton yarn, a tapestry needle and your trusty H hook to do this project.
